Quebec: protests against the "Plan Nord"

Protesters fought their way into the heavily guarded Palais de Congrais  and police responded with heavy shooting of rubber bullets, tear gas and flash bang grenades.

However there were moments when demonstrators were actually driving police back and not the other way around. Of this substance is what revolutions are made.

Protesters chanted:

Capitalism makes war on us, let us make war to Capitalism!

The protests were directed against the developist (extractivist) Plan Nord to expropriate the natural wealth of northern Quebec, a mostly Native American and Inuit area, in order to extend the lifeline of agonizing Capitalism a bit more into the future.
