Basque Country: solidarity for the latest car accidents of prisoners' relatives forbidden

The Spanish occupation authorities forbade the protest called in Atarrabia, Navarre, to show solidarity with the relatives of Basque prisoners who have to travel thousands of kilometers every other weekend to visit their relatives scattered through all Southwestern Europe.

This weekend alone there have been three such road accidents with three people injured (nine affected). Luckily nobody got killed but it does happen sometimes too.

The Spanish police forces threatened to charge if the peaceful protest was not dissolved. Therefore the protesters decided to move the meeting to the House of Culture (photo).
