Watch and witness how democracy is a total farce even inside the Democratic Party Convention. A motion to include the word "God" in their political platform and recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel was rejected thrice by the delegates but the speaker, after making the vote to be repeated twice quite irregularly, "judged" it had passed in spite of the massive "nay" heard. It needed 2/3 of "ayes" and it probably did not get even 1/3. Watch and despair:

Incidentally today Naked Capitalism reviews the Democratic Party Platform 2008 and how almost every single promise they made was broken. That's what happens when you elect managers and cannot enforce programs democratically.
