While Otegi writes about peace, love and flowers, Iñaki Goioaga (pictured) is being asked 16 years in prison for alleged evidence (evidence?) obtained in an illegal search (without a judicial order), after being initially captured in a smoke bomb operation to divert the attention of the French incommoded by illegal Spanish operations in their territory.
Several European and local attorneys' and human rights associations have expressed their rejection of the many arbitrarinesses and abuses of this process, which is nevertheless the usual in Spain, specially if the victim, the accused is Basque.
This act of arbitrary repression, as many other we suffer regularly explains why the excessive one-sidedness of "the process" (process of what?, what process?) is more and more being questioned by many.
