I must echo here the denounce on the extreme situation that is happening in the Prison of Coronda (Santa Fé, Argentina), where inmates have been locked in their cells for days not getting food nor water. This in turn has caused many to turn to desperate actions like setting fire to mattresses or themselves, causing themselves lesions with cutting items, etc.
The situation has been going on since Tuesday, what means that they have been in such extreme conditions for four days already.
The information published at Argenpress[es] indicates that the provincial authorities of Santa Fé are being criminally negligent and lying about the situation.
A petition of Habeas Corpus has been presented to the judge.
