Two German citizens, Flo and Rafi, await sentence after being judged for allegedly setting alight a trash container that was never burnt.
There is not a single piece of evidence that any container was burnt that day of the forcible eviction of Kukutza Gaztetxea (social center), not a call to firefighters, not a single video image or even photo... just the declaration of two police agents.
And there are plenty of videos and photos, there was even cameras emitting online what could be seen from a side street. We saw police threatening citizens with deadlyt rubber bullet rifles at short distance, we saw them beating the hell out of people with their batons and boots, we saw them carjacking the gate of the squat with their tanks... but not a single image of any single container burnt.
Much less evidence incriminating specifically the only two foreigners in the gaztetxe.
Still the state attorney asked for 3 and half years of prison, while the defense, of course asked for full clearing.
The police agents who are so blatantly lying under oath will not be prosecuted in any case.
