Sad anniversary: 500 years of the invasion of Pamplona-Iruñea

Today 500 years ago (not counting the ten days that never existed) the oversized army of the Duke of Alba  marched into Pamplona (known to Basques as Iruñea: the city or the capital).

It was only a beginning for a never-ending war.
