Popular struggle in San Fermin fiestas again

The Basque flag was present again in the txupin (inaugural rocket firing) of the famed fiestas of Pamplona, San Ferminak. The reactionary unionist authorities of the city had displayed their police mercenaries to impede that the Basque flag was present in the City Hall Plaza again this year... but they failed again.

Along the flag, also banners demanding prisoner repatriation.

Also, later in the day, the controversial reactionary Riau-Riau religious procession, which was suspended a decade ago and now restarted without sufficient consensus, had to be suspended as police could not (of course not) grant the security of the much hated President of Navarre Yolanda Barcina (which only counts with the support of 1/3 of actual voters). Not in vain this summer's most popular song in Navarre is titled Barcina vete ya! (Barcina go home already!), specially as she lost her coalition majority after a direct clash against their partners, among many financial scandals, that seriously affect the Navarrese people and question centuries of the most strict financial seriousness for the old kingdom.

Update (Jul 8): one person (Mikel Auza) has been arrested today accused of "attack against authority", "public disorders" and "injuries". It is unclear if there is any evidence at all relating him to the incidents. Source: Ateak Ireki[es].

Update (Jul 9): another person (Orlando Artieda) was arrested today on the same grounds, while Auza was released with charges.

A protest was held denouncing these arrests as police set ups.
