Guantanamo torture camp to remain open

US President Obama signed (betraying again his promises) the bill known as National Defense Authorization Act, which allows the US Armed Forces and secret services to arbitrarily arrest and keep retained in prison without trial anyone they wish on whatever vague and unproven pretext.

For 11 years now, scores of people detained in unknown circumstances and never charged with any crime have been kept arrested under brutal conditions and systematic pointless torture in the occupied Cuban territory of Guantanamo Bay.
