Revolutionary General Strike in Nepal

A bandh or revolutionary general strike is begining today in Nepal, where the bourgeois-recycled ex-communist government of Bhattarai is facing its own weakness after leaning more and more for the imperialist capitalist camp under Indian pressure. The NCPN-M saw after that how almost all its grassroots, including the militias, broke apart and formed a new party, CPN-M, which has got yet no opportunity to run in any elections but which has obviously widespread support among the masses.

Nepali general strikes are very militant, with worker pickets forcing the closure of absolutely everything, as must be the case.
