Figures of the German green energy transition (up to date)

From Energy Transition:

PV = photovoltaic = solar energy (non-thermal)
Important note: biomass is not green: while biomass is considered and is indeed renewable, depending on its origins it may well be very harmful. A key source of biomass is wood, which is generally obtained from plantations in Europe but also elsewhere. Burning wood, no matter how renewable is not ecologically honest and is not better than biofuels (also renewable). Not only the method of energy generation from combustion is pollutant but also and critically the tree plantations damage the environment and human rights where they are installed. A WRM report is available HERE (source[es]).
