USA, Saudis and Turkey supporting Al Qaeda terrorists in Syria

That is what we get to know thanks to Russia Today (Spanish edition) citing Iranian news sources (Al-Alam): Tariq al-Fadhli, a former (sic) Al Qaeda leader and a powerhouse in the Yemeni region of Abyan, is sending into Syria some 5000 Yemeni terrorists via Turkey after reaching a deal with the USA and Saudi Arabia.

The international terrorists describe themselves as "defenders of the Sharia" but the Yemeni authorities consider al-Fadhli as one of the most dangerous terrorists of the country.

Al Qaeda has also been reported by The Guardian as the real leadership of the Syrian insurgency, something reluctantly acknowledged by US authorities.

  1. It would be interesting to see what Al Qaeda does if and when it is able to grab the power in Syria.

BTW, thanx a lot for your detailed comments on the Eurobanking Deal post.

I have some work to do. I'll leave now and be back next year. Wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year :)
