OCDE meeting at Jerusalem won't be attended by Spain nor Britain

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, known by its French acronym OCDE, will for the second time in history hold their meeting outside Paris but the chosen location could not have been worse chosen: it is occupied East Jerusalem, a territory that no country on Earth recognizes as part of Israel, the host of this meeting, but as occupied territory.

So far Spain and the UK have confirmed they will not attend. It is possible that other member states (Turkey?, who else?) will also excuse their attendance.

The president of the OCDE, José Ángel Gurria, is also upset that Israel is boasting this event as some sort of international recognition of the unilateral annexation.
