Censored documentary on Zionist Lobby in the USA finally available

Parts 1 and 2: https://electronicintifada.net/content/watch-film-israel-lobby-didnt-want-you-see/25876

Parts 3 and 4: https://electronicintifada.net/content/watch-final-episodes-al-jazeera-film-us-israel-lobby/25896

The documentary was part of a wider resarch journalism effort by Al Jazeera, the public TV of Qatar, which also included a documentary on the British Zionist Lobby and how it influences British politics, quite interesting to watch (I'll see if I can find the link later on). While the British part of the research was published without restrictions, the US part was censored by the Qatari government and never released by Al Jazeera.

However now the full documentary has been leaked and made available by the Electronic Intifada website. Thanks also to The Real News for making me aware of this important must-watch revelation.

France: political trial against anti-Zionist for calling to boycott Israel

How ironical that anti-discrimination laws are used against those who are fighting against Apartheid and Genocide!

Seven activists faced trial in Alençon, Normandie, after they took part in a propaganda action in a supermarket, calling for boycott to Zionist products. They risk a fine of up to €1000 for "discrimination". Three others suffered a similar ideological persecution in Perpinyá (Northern Catalonia). Hundreds concentrated in their support in both cities.

France seems to be one of the states on Earth where campaigning against Zionism is most actively persecuted:

Dozens of activists have faced criminal charges or investigation and the French police regularly demand the names and addresses of activists that take part in actions organized in support of BDS against Israel. Several activists have already been issued with heavy fines.

The Zionist regime and its necessary associate the Zionist International, so influential within the Western Empire (but also in other powers like Russia or India), is trying to intimidate by means of political persecution the the campaign of disobedience against their imposition of Hebraized neo-Nazi values. They do not seem to understand that repression only strengthens the determination and support for those who are so obviously right.

UK denies visa to Palestinian nonviolent activist (but welcomes Zionist war criminals)

Is the British government frightened by Palestine’s peaceful campaigners?

by Amena Saleem

The double standards of the British government in relation to Palestine and Israel were laid bare yesterday with the news that Palestinian activist Saeed Amireh has been refused a visa to visit the UK.

Amireh, a member of the popular committee in his West Bank village of Nilin, was due to begin a speaking tour that would have taken him from the south coast of England to Dunblane in Scotland, speaking to the network of branches of Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC) and university Palestine societies. In London, he was due to speak alongside Sami Abu Shehadeh, of the Jaffa Popular Committee for the Defence of Land and Housing Rights, in a meeting organized by PSC and Jews for Justice for Palestinians.

However, a government which, in 2011, changed the law to make it easier for Israeli war criminals to enter the UK, yesterday denied Amireh, a peaceful campaigner against the Israeli occupation and the theft of Nilin’s land, the right of entry. He was told he hadn’t provided “enough supporting documents,” even though he had supplied everything that was asked for, including a letter of invitation and guarantee of his costs being paid from PSC.

Amireh, 21, is used to struggle. At the age of 17, as he was about to take his final school exams, he was imprisoned by the Israeli authorities for four and a half months. A year earlier, he had been demonstrating against the wall which is destroying Nilin when the Israeli army began shooting live rounds. A 10-year-old child, Ahmed Moussa, was shot in the head. As he fell, Amireh rushed to catch him and has described his shock as he held the boy while he bled to death, his brain falling out of his skull.

Amireh has spoken in Europe and Australia about these experiences and the nonviolent resistance of the people of Nilin against the wall and illegal settlements which have stolen the village’s land, reducing it from 5,800 dunnums to 800. The village is surrounded by five settlements, and an apartheid road, off-limits to Palestinians, cuts through its heart. In preparation for a total closure, the Israeli army has begun constructing a tunnel that will take Palestinians in and out of Ni’lin at set times of the day.

Basque solidarity with Palestine in football match against Zionist team

The European sport and cultural institutions are pushing the Zionist agenda once and again and allowing Zionist teams, representing a racist state that was expelled from the Asian federations, to take part in European competitions, shaming us all.

Luckily some people still have a solidary heart beating inside them and go protest the Neonazi Zionist presence in our soil. The people of Herri Sur did not bend to the pressures of the team bureaucrats, who seem to have no heart whatsoever, and brought the true flag of Palestine to the football field.

But what is really unforgivable is that from the Athletic to the UEFA, as well as all other relevant European sport and cultural institutions, are tolerating the presence of a Nazi genocidal apartheid regime such as is Israel in Europe.

We should not accept that: we should be more active and block the landing of their airplanes by taking over the airport.

Never again! No to Zionazis in Europe! No to Zionazis anywhere!

Apartheid Wall encircles Jerusalem... and California

The Apartheid Wall's section around Jerusalem, unilaterally annexed by the Apartheid Regime of Palestine (Israel), has been finished, cutting the city from its surroundings except narrow corridors towards Tel Aviv and the surrounding Jewish settlements.

Some 120,000 Palestinians are being expelled while Jewish immigrants from around the World are being encouraged to settle in.

The wall is ugly, made of concrete, electrified. Not a tad better than the Berlin Wall. And they also shoot to kill here, indeed.

The so called free media remains silent.

California outlaws criticism of Israel in campuses

In a parallel development the most populous US state, California, has declared illegal all criticism of Israel, which it equates to "antisemitism", in the public university. The fascist law was supported by both republicans and democrats, showing again that the two party system is a farce. Only 14 congresspeople dared to oppose the Zionist Lobby.

The law is full of Zionist hasbara cliché, mixing apples and oranges, read:

WHEREAS, The United States Department of State, the United Kingdom's All-Party Parliamentary Group Against Antisemitism, and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe have adopted or endorsed the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights' working definition of anti-Semitism, which notes that in context certain language or behavior demonizes and delegitimizes Israel or attacks Israel with classic anti-Semitic stereotypes, such as denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination, applying double standards by requiring of Israel a behavior not expected or demanded of any other democratic nation, drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli police to that of the Nazis, and accusing the Jewish people, or Israel, of inventing or exaggerating the Holocaust...

Goebbels himself could not lie better nor louder.

The result is to effectively ban free debate on the Palestinian issue and the Apartheid Regime known as Israel in University. A first step to ban all kind of free speech in the name of farcical anti-antisemitism.

Zionist censorship and labor rights violation in North Carolina University supported by state's Supreme Court

Dr. Terri Ginsberg (pictured) was expelled from North Carolina University for expressing opinions opposed to the genocidal, colonialist and racist state of Israel and was appealing before the courts. Sadly I have just been informed that the North Carolina Supreme Court has decided to support this violation of human, civil and labor rights. Press release follows:
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – June 22, 2012
For more information, contact:
Rima Najjar Kapitan, Esq.

We regret to report that the North Carolina Supreme Court decided in conference on June 13 to deny a Petition for Discretionary Review filed last December by film scholar Terri Ginsberg. The Petition asked the Court to reconsider a North Carolina Court of Appeals decision affirming a November 2010 lower court dismissal of Dr. Ginsberg’s lawsuit against North Carolina State University (NCSU). In October 2009, Dr. Ginsberg filed a complaint alleging violation of her right to academic freedom under the North Carolina constitution.

Dr. Ginsberg had been denied a tenure-track position because of the University’s discomfort with her scholarly speech and writing critical of Israeli policy and Zionism and favoring Palestinian rights and self-determination. The Court’s Order to deny Dr. Ginsberg’s Petition offers neither an opinion nor a reason for the decision. Dr. Ginsberg’s Petition was supported by an Open Letter sponsored by several national and international human rights organizations and delivered on February 7, 2012 to both the North Carolina Supreme Court and NCSU Chancellor Randy Woodson. As of its closure on June 22, the Open Letter had accrued 1274 signatures. Dr. Ginsberg states in both of these documents that by ignoring her voluminous evidence of an academic freedom violation, the Court of Appeals set a dangerous precedent by which academic employers have been given carte blanche to suppress the politically unpopular speech of their faculty, to the detriment of North Carolina students and to public discourse generally.

Dr. Ginsberg’s appeal was rejected despite direct and circumstantial evidence that NCSU took employment actions against her for unconstitutional reasons. During depositions held in June 2010, NCSU’s witnesses, including Prof. Marsha Orgeron, director of the Film Studies Program, and Prof. Akram Khater, director of the
Middle East Studies Program, admitted to having reacted negatively to Ginsberg’s supportive statements at a screening of a Palestinian film, Ticket to Jerusalem, during which she thanked the audience for attending and thereby supporting the airing of Palestinian liberation perspectives such as the views displayed in the film.

Profs. Orgeron and Khater stated that Dr. Ginsberg’s comments caused them to worry that members of the audience would perceive the Film Studies and Middle East Studies programs as “biased.” Shortly thereafter, Dr. Ginsberg was forced to resign from the Middle East screening series that she had helped curate; NCSU then chose not to interview or hire her for a tenure-track position for which she had previously been ranked asthe top candidate. She was rejected despite NCSU’s admission that she was more qualified than the candidate NCSU eventually hired, because her scholarship had “too much focus on Jewish/Israel,” in the words of one search committee member. The Film Studies Program did not purchase Palestinian films for her Spring 2008 course on Israeli–Palestinian conflict cinema, and she was shunned from further extra-curricular and departmental activities until her termination that May.

The Court’s dismissal is particularly troubling in the wake of Arizona’s recent outlawing of Chicano/a studies curricula in that state’s educational system, and as pro-Zionist groups in California are attempting to force California State University–Northridge to forbid mathematics professor David Klein from posting to his faculty website information about the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement in support of human rights for Palestinians.

Dr. Ginsberg says she has not given up on her quest for justice from North Carolina State University and encourages supporters to e-mail letters of protest to Chancellor Woodson (see sample letter) requesting that she be permitted a long-overdue campus grievance hearing. Dr. Ginsberg also plans to approach BDS about issuing a boycott of NCSU. For more information about Dr. Ginsberg’s case, please visit the website Ginsberg vs. NCSU.

The electronic police state

NSA's key is that of your home

"In an Electronic Police State," Cryptohippie averred, "every surveillance camera recording, every email you send, every Internet site you surf, every post you make, every check you write, every credit card swipe, every cell phone ping... are all criminal evidence, and they are held in searchable databases, for a long, long time. Whoever holds this evidence can make you look very, very bad whenever they care enough to do so. You can be prosecuted whenever they feel like it--the evidence is already in their database."

In stark contrast to feckless promises to undo the egregious constitutional violations of the Bush regime, The New York Times reported that the "Obama administration is moving to relax restrictions on how counterterrorism analysts may access, store and search information about Americans gathered by government agencies for purposes other than national security threats."

On March 22, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder signed-off on new guidelines for the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) that "will lengthen to five years--from 180 days--the center's ability to retain private information about Americans when there is no suspicion that they are tied to terrorism," investigative journalist Charlie Savage wrote.

So essentially, even if you have US citizenship, you are legally subject to very possible five-years-long recording of all your unencrypted communications, recording which can be used against you on trial or just to destroy your reputation.

NSA headquarters
More:
Binney explained "that the agency could have installed its tapping gear at the nation's cable landing stations--the more than two dozen sites on the periphery of the US where fiber-optic cables come ashore. If it had taken that route, the NSA would have been able to limit its eavesdropping to just international communications, which at the time was all that was allowed under US law."

"Instead," Binney told Wired, the agency "chose to put the wiretapping rooms at key junction points throughout the country--large, windowless buildings known as switches--thus gaining access to not just international communications but also to most of the domestic traffic flowing through the US. The network of intercept stations goes far beyond the single room in an AT&T building in San Francisco exposed by a whistle-blower in 2006. 'I think there's 10 to 20 of them,' Binney says. 'That's not just San Francisco; they have them in the middle of the country and also on the East Coast'."
What means that the surveillance is directed against US citizens in US soil.

Note: while the FBI and the CIA are best known US secret services, maybe the most important agency is actually the National Security Agency (NSA), in charge of coordinating them all.

More:

Narus, an Israeli firm founded by retired members of the IDF's secretive Unit 8200, now owned by The Boeing Corporation, and Verint, now Comverse Infosys, another Israeli firm, were close partners alongside NSA in these illegal projects; one more facet of the U.S. and Israel's "special relationship."

(...)

"Once a name is entered into the Narus database," Binney said, "all phone calls and other communications to and from that person are automatically routed to the NSA's recorders."

Unit 2800 base at Golan Heights
Unit 8200 is the Zionist core secret service, roughly comparable with the NSA, directly dependent from the Zionist Army, known as IDF. The identity of the boss of this all-powerful unit is not made public.

They conclude:

We need not speculate as to when an American police state will be fully functional, it already is.

'San Francisco Jewish Federation officially excommunicates large swath of Jewish population' (Muzzle Watch)

The San Francisco Bay Area’s Jewish Federation has made it official.

Here in one of the most cosmopolitan, diversity-friendly and culture-loving places on earth, there is a new litmus test for Jewish identity and it has absolutely nothing to do with religious practice, cultural expression, personal history or the values you embrace. Membership in the Jewish community has been officially reduced to one and only one question- do you UNCONDITIONALLY love Israel?

Do you love Israel so much that you are willing to stand by and do nothing as it destroys itself and everyone it controls by repeatedly violating international law, sending its youngest citizens to enforce the 43-year occupation of another people,  imprisoning them, killing them with impunity, denying them the right to health and education and work and claiming it’s all in the name of security while taking more Palestinian land and water and trees each day.
In other words, are you willing to love Israel to death?

If the answer is YES, you’re in! If the answer is NO, and you have the chutzpah to embrace the principled, creative, peaceful methods of Martin Luther King, Cesar Chavez, and Gandhi as a way to pressure Israel to  help provide true democracy for all Israelis and Palestinians, then you’re out!

From the Net: North Carolina professor T. Ginsberg persecuted for cricizing Zionism (MuzzleWatch)

Terri Ginsberg [pictured] was a visiting film studies professor at North Carolina State University when she was dismissed after sharing views critical of Zionism and the state of Israel. (You can read prior coverage of her case in Muzzlewatch, the Electronic Intifada and in Ha’aretz). She filed a grievance with the university, which denied her a hearing – three times. So she took her case to the courts. Two lower courts have decided against her, and she is now appealing to the Supreme Court of North Carolina.

Obama: the first ultra-Zionist US President?

Well, not really the first, but he's overdoing it so much that even New York magazine has acknowledged it by proclaiming him The first Jewish (sic) President.

Problem is that they have borrowed the sentence from a 2008 article by James Petras, who already saw how Obama's meteoric and unusual career could only be the product of his intense dive in the Zionist Lobby.

Gaza children's art exposition in Oakland censored by Zionist Lobby

The Children's Museum of Art, in the Californian city of Oakland, decided to suspend an exposition of art by children of the largest open air prison on Earth, Gaza Strip. The reason "pressure by Jewish groups", i.e. the Zionist Lobby hiding themselves behind an ethnic pretext.

The art of the innocent victims of the ongoing Palestinian Genocide included pieces such as these:

External article: 'The mighty Zionist struggle against racism' (Gabriel at JSF)

The relation between Zionism and racism never ceases to amaze. On the one hand, Israel's willing apologists can't see 90% of the racism in Israel. Some can't see 110%. On the other hand, they have an ear with absolute pitch and subliminal sensitivity, that identifies not just racist notes, but even forth and fifth harmonics of racism, no matter how inaudible even to expert musicologists. But they hear those exquisitely difficult to hear tones on two conditions only: 1. The victim of racism is not an Arab. 2. The "perpetrator" of racism has criticized Israel.

Who is behind AIPAC?

The infamous America Israel Public Affairs Committee, the most apparent face of the Zionist Lobby in the USA (and anywhere, excepting maybe the state of Israel) has declared (pdf) only two major donors, each one a person. One contributes $48.5 million and the other $13.5 million. All lesser contributors together add up to only $2.3 million.

Grant Smith deals with this issue at Global Research but he fails short of telling us who are those two super-donors, notably the main one, who, effectively control Zionism single-handedly.

I'm quite sure that it should not be too difficult to guess who are these two donors, however I will not pretend to know that as of yet (my knowledge of obscure Zionist conspirations and rankings in the Zionist mafia is admittedly very poor).

Quick news review (July 21)

Some news and stuff I don't have energies to treat in depth but that are anyhow quite interesting:

Antifascist wallpapers.- Two versions (Antifa and Antifascist All Stars) at Sare Antifaxista, originally from Danish site Projekt Antifa.

Zionists panicking at possible loss of Murdoch.- Jews sans frontieres discusses how key Zionist sites are showing clear worry at the tumbling of the rotten media empire.

CIA veteran warns of Israel attack against Iran in the Fall.- Al Jazeera echoes this warning bt the Hollywood-famous ex-spy Robert Baer (Syriana). He warns that the USA will follow suit and will get us all in yet another stupid, criminal and pointless war.

Town 150 km North of Fukushima NPP, as polluted as some areas within 50 km.- The Ministry of Science launched the warning and NHK echoes it but the radiation map that has inspired the minister is a creation of the Japanese civil society and not the government, which has bee rather trying to hide the severity of the situation so far.

The fascist authors of the Spanish Biographical Dictionary accused at court.- For the crimes of injury and apology of genocide. Reported at Sare Antifaxista[es], for background see here.

Anti-Zionist demonstration in Jerusalem.- A peaceful demo took place at Jerusalem demanding the end of the Zionist occupation and the recognition of Palestinian statehood. Video at Protestation.org.

35 arrested at San Francisco (California) protest against police violence.- Video at Protestation.org. Apparently they were protesting a killing by police. The armed organization declared the civic protest illegal and rounded them up.

Kurds begin hunger strike at Dublin (Ireland).- They demand the revocation of the Treaty of Lausanne, which divided Kurdistan between for foreign states: Turkey, Iraq, Iran and Syria. Video at Protestation.org.

Novel approach improves windfarm efficiency.- Science Daily mentions that  Caltech suggests recovering vertical axis wind turbine design, which would allow to locate them close to each other, tapping the most of local wind, adapting to low altitude turbulent winds and reducing overall environmental impact.

Pluto has yet another moon.- Pluto may not be anymore a true planet but it has four moons. That is the new finding by a Hubble telescope survey, adding to the already known Charon, Nyx and Hydra moons of the dwarf planet. The new satellite has been provisionally named P4 (for Pluto-4, you guessed it).

Artificial neural network trained to discern between four scientists.-  A network of four neuron-like artificial cells (built using DNA, so still biological even if artificial) has been trained to solve a logical puzzle by which it identifies one of four possible scientists on a number of possible combined clues. US flotilla captain mistreated by Greek state, which is using war laws. US embassy ignoring them

Vauro Senesi explains in Il Manifesto[it] (translated to Spanish at LINYM), that the captain of the US ship The Audacity of Hope, John Klusmire, is being mistreated and bused by the Greek police state, which has jailed him.

The laws being used for this highly irregular retention of the ships is designed to be applied only in case of emergency of war. Need not say that neither condition applies but need not say that Papandreou the betrayer cares not abut such details.

But it is not only the Greek state. The home states of all ships and crews involved are ignoring them altogether. Yesterday I mentioned how Spanish activists have occupied the embassy in Athens for that reason: to demand to Madrid to press Greece to let them sail. Senesi explains that in the US case it is even worse: no visit, no legal assistance of any kind is being provided.

There are many traitors and betrayers in this story: the naked truth of global Zionism is becoming evident. But what can you expect of a state that maybe is the most powerful on Earth but that allowed Israel to sink one of its military ships without any sort of retaliation, not even a formal protest?

Nothing good.

Most of the crew and passage of The Audacity of Hope are of Jewish ethnicity themselves, yet they do dare to challenge Israel, increasing the legitimacy of the anti-Apartheid movement. One of them is a Holocaust survivor aged 87.

French ship Dignité - Al Karama escaped Greek control and will try to reach Gaza on its own.

How bad is for the USA the 'special relationship' with Israel?

And by that I also mean, of course, the leading but rather secretive role of the Zionist Lobby in shaping US foreign policy and US public opinion.

An interesting article by Maidhc Ó Cathail has been published at Voltaire Net and also his own blog.

Citing various authors of all political tendencies, he argues that the Zionist Lobby has a decades-long stranglehold on the US media, Congress and Presidency, such a powerful grab that looks almost impossible to break. However, as the USA is the main effective actor in global politics, rather than tiny Israel, it gets blamed for all that, regardless that the main instigator is Israel or the Zionist International. Of course, the USA is not blameless... but in any case it is not good for this country to have its foreign policy so strongly under the diktat of the Zionists, because obviously, whatever Chomsky says, there is no identity of interests between Israel and the USA. And certainly it is not of use for any country to have its foreign policy controlled by a foreign actor with its own particular interests.

A good example of these divergent interests are the Iraq wars. It was not the interest of the USA nor of most of its allies to trick Iraq into attacking Kuwait nor in a war of any sort against Iraq. The only ones interested in that were Israel and (guess who?) Iran. Iraq had been working for long in favor of US interests by warring against Iran, it had the support of Saudi Arabia, France and Turkey (at least), all them key US allies. But it posed a potential danger for Israel in the long run, would Iraq become too powerful. So now it has been demolished to a shadow of what it used to be, divided in a de facto civil war, deprived of any meaningful form of government and ready for partition when the time is ripe.

He argues for US citizens to become aware of the overwhelming power of the Zionist Lobby, to create a constituency of people aware and concerned by this issue. I'd say that's fine but while the Lobby controls in fact the media and the economy, the options for standard politicians to work independently in favor of sovereign US interests are nil. What the USA needs is a revolution of some sort: one that takes the economic and media power from the rich, most of which are effective Zionists, by grade or force.

The Voltaire Net article includes a video interview with Grant Smith of the Institute for Research on Middle Eastern Policy, on newly declassified files showing massive media bribery by the Zionist Lobby:
