Greece: police kills young girl with car - media censors story

20-year old Polina Kelempesioti dies after being run over by police car in Athens

On Friday, February 1st, 20-year old Polina Kelempesioti was run over and seriously injured by a police car on Grigori Lampraki Avenue in the neighbourhood of Korydallos. The police car had crossed a red light. Eight days later, on February 9th, Polina died in hospital. Her story has gone almost entirely unreported by national and international media alike. There is no information whatsoever on the police who lethally injured Polina.
