Another Basque internationalist arrested. This time by France

Uberka Bravo Corral was arrested tonight at Hendaia (Hendaye) in French jurisdiction in a joint Spanish-French police operation.

This arrest is the latest one against the Basque internationalist organization Askapena (Liberation) that got seven people arrested in late September, though two of them were later set free.

He is accused of being the highest ranking member of the international relations' branch of the Basque Nationalist youth movement Segi (formerly Haika and Jarrai), which was declared illegal years ago in the context of the inquisitorial persecution of so many different Basque political and cultural organizations. It's said that his name appeared in documents taken from an ETA member arrested in 2008 at Bordeaux.
