Arnaldo Otegi punished for recording a political message

Imprisoned Basque political leader Arnaldo Otegi has been repressed with isolation in Logroño prison for recording a message that was broadcast in the electoral act of EH Bildu at the Bilbao Exhibition Center this weekend.

In the message (partly in Basque, partly in Spanish) Otegi  acknowledges that we are in a major crisis that should shake it all: Capitalism but also the Spanish state. He then demanded:

• the liberation of political prisoners
• a national dialogue among the Basque forces
• independence for the Basque Country, in line with the steps being taken in Catalonia, Scotland, Flanders...
