Thousands march in Pamplona against the criminalization of working class and the right to strike

A large demonstration protested the police raids against Navarrese citizens for taking part in the General Strike of March 29th.

The worst, in a sense, is that all arrested have been released already, a clear sign that their "crimes" were not such but at the most mere misdemeanors. However by arresting people at school and such the judicial authorities (who seldom administer justice at all but mostly rubber-stamp repression) attempt to assassinate the social image of the victims of these arbitrary inquisitorial attacks.

The march, which gathered more than a thousand people and was watched closely by heavily armed police, as is apparent in the photo, culminated with a speech by representatives of the Unemployed Workers' Assembly and some unions, who denounced the budgetary cuts as an insult to intelligence, and claimed the sharing of work and wealth.
