Much more likely is that some US embassy silverspoon believed in some typical Gringo paranoid reaction that his life was in danger and that all those peaceful demonstrators were armed Al Qaeda operatives or whatever, just like those Rambos who murdered unarmed journalists, their contacts and some passersby, including children, who tried to help the injured from a helicopter in Iraq.
