England: 50,000 people march through Manchester against healthcare privatization

This was on Sunday: some 50,000 citizens marched through the streets of Manchester protesting the (further) privatization of the British healthcare service NHS.

The march was so strongly participated that even Manchester police had to describe it as "one of the largest we have ever watched over".

TUC union leader Frances O'Grady protested the 21,000 jobs lost to privatization in just three months and wowed to defend the public NHS.
